Sports Without the Scoreboard
This quiz leaves out who won. It asks for rules and measures that stay the same from match to match: how many players start a football match, how high a basketball rim is, and how long a marathon is.

Association football is the game with eleven players a side. The marathon distance is the standard 42.195 kilometres, not a rounded guess. Tennis “love” means zero.
Each explanation names the public reference checked on 6 October 2026. The quiz is for entertainment and does not compare your score with anyone else. It also does not ask you to guess how an average person would do. Read the wording with care. There is no time limit. Take the questions one at a time.
