World Capitals in Ten Questions
National capitals are the seats of government, and they are not always the largest or most photographed city in a country. Ottawa, Canberra, Brasília, Wellington, Ankara, and Rabat are official capitals that visitors sometimes mix up with a better-known neighbour.

This quiz asks for the current national capital of ten countries. The city that matters is the one where the national government sits, not the biggest metropolitan area, the main stock exchange, or a historic capital that has been replaced. Where a country has moved its capital, the answer is the present one.
The ten countries here have a single capital in ordinary international lists. The questions avoid places that split the role of capital between more than one city. Each explanation names the reference used to check the answer on 6 October 2026.
